5 Benefits of Sugar Scrub
1. Sugar scrubs exfoliate your skin. Exfoliation is the process of removing old, dead skin cells. Your body naturally sheds skin about every 30 days. Sugar is rough enough to help remove the old skin without damaging the new.
2. A good sugar scrub will rejuvenate your skin. Gone will be the days of tired skin that looks dull. Instead, you’ll notice more radiant and flawless skin – one of the best benefits of sugar scrub, for sure!
3. Sugar scrubs help keep away ingrown hairs. Pores can get blocked with the dead skin cells constantly shedding, causing ingrown hairs. Normal body wash may not remove it all so you need to opt for something a little more abrasive every now and then.
4. Enjoy the sugar scrub all over your body. Most DIY recipes aren’t limited to just the face or one area of the body. Use it at bath time to brighten ALL of your skin.
5. Sugar scrubs leave your skin feeling smooth and super clean. Once the dead skin is removed, you’ll notice less texture and a smoother feel and appearance.
